Marketing Guide
Platform

For this project I worked with a team to concept and develop an online marketing guide. The guide was designed to help marketing leaders assess the effectiveness of their marketing efforts and identify areas for improvement. 

As a member of this team, I was responsible for several key tasks, including:  

 

  • creating interactive designs by way of page/user flow diagrams 

  • building site maps and interactive wireframes in proto.io.

  • designing visual elements, icons

  • conducting UX research by testing designs with sample users

The final product was well-received by our target audience and presented at an international conference.

Process

The Marketing Guide Platform began with thorough research and analysis, where we immersed ourselves in understanding our target audience by comprehending their pain points and expectations.
 

Once we have gathered these insights, I proceed to the wireframing stage. A wireframe acts as the blueprint of the Marketing Guide Platform, illustrating its layout, structure, and functionalities in a simplistic manner. This allows us to focus on the core elements and overall flow. I prioritize clarity, ease of navigation and immersion.

I animated the wireframe to showcase the flow of our featured pages, and the difference paths a user might take. 

Following the wireframe, I proceed to the UI design stage. Here, I inject life into the wireframe by introducing colors, typography, images, and other visual elements that align with our brand identity. 

I paid special attention to the consistency of the design, ensuring that each element complements the others seamlessly. Additionally, I worked to maintain responsiveness across various devices, enabling users to access the platform effortlessly, whether they are on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

Once the UI design was finalized, I worked passed the project off to our developer, as they brought the design to life. I worked closely with them to maintain design elements while incorporating functionality and interactivity in the the platform. Rigorous testing was conducted to iron out any potential bugs and to guarantee a smooth, glitch-free user experience.
